VINEYARDS

The Tondre Grapefield is located in the heart of the Santa Lucia Highlands. This vintage was harvested from 22 year old Pommard clone vines.

WINEMAKING

5-6 day cold soak. Indigenous yeast fermentation. 8 day primary fermentation, 4 day maceration. Gently pressed into neutral French puncheon. Malolactic fermentation in barrel, 14 month aging.

TASTING NOTES

Aromas and flavors of plum and blackberry. Silky tannins with a rounded palate and long finish.
