Bobcat is a medium-bodied, hand-crafted, estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon with rich textures and a well developed and complex bouquet. Warm days and cool nights produced fruit with ripe flavors, ample structure and great acidity.

Bob and Kathy Mullen have eagerly embraced pastoral life since returning to their roots in Sonoma County in 2011. Kathy’s family began farming in Sonoma County in the early 1850s and she is the fifth generation of her family to engage in agriculture. From their small Cabernet vineyard in Dry Creek Valley, they have been producing “Bobcat” since 2012.
Perched on a bench on the western slope of Dry Creek Valley, Bobcat Vineyards is comprised of a little over 6 acres of vines and has proven to be an ideal spot for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. Seventy miles north of San Francisco, Dry Creek Valley is one of the smallest AVAs in Sonoma County and is known for its hot, dry summer days and cool nights.
Tempered by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the vineyard experiences both coastal and inland influences, allowing the grapes to mature slowly, retain acidity and produce elegant wines with great structure. The vineyard’s rocky soils drain well helping to stress the vines and concentrate varietal character.
